wow. so today i woke up around 3 (on purpose cuz its too hot outside before that and besides now i can stay up all night) and walked down to do some shopping for people back home. while walking down florida i basically got jipped out of a hundred pesos and they were trying to force me to give them more. so me and the so called security person were walking to my hostil so i could get money that they were trying to force out of me i saw a huge protest-parade-festival of some kind and the street light was about to change so i BOLTED as fast as i could into the crowd. i didnt look back so im not sure how far the guy got or if he could even follow me cuz of traffic. i made it to the hostil safely and took a short nap.

so tonight me and the estoril gang (pretty much all people from australia) went to the nicest dinner spot in town and all ate like kings and drank a few bottles of wine. at around midnight we left the restuarant and walked down the street to club 69 where it was fuckin crazy. the club was packed and there was a cabaret show (which included a drag queen or two) every 30 min or so. then at about 3 it started to really go off and there were break dancers doing backflips and the people were awesome (about half argentinians a few americans and everyone else was aussie wtf!) so we danced til about 4 and then hitched a cab home. somebody tried to sell me a blue transformer at the club which i might have bought if had the money and had it not already been 4 am.

anyways it was another unforgettable night in the unforgettable city of buenos aires.

im here in buenos aires and the time is like 5 or 6 hours different so ive been trying to sleep for awhile and i finally decided to lurk the space and update the journal since i cant sleep and its too late to play guitar in the hostil.

i brought pretty much nothing. i was being a stupid boy and thinking about bullshit going on at home rather than trying to prepare myself for argentina so running late i finished my shit, grabbed a bag with nothing more than my passport, money and some clothes. but thats the point isnt it... to leave everything behind and leave for 2 weeks. now i have more room to bring things back.

its rad here. i just wish i could sleep. im staying in this sweet old building that has been made into several hostils my room wasnt ready for me tonight when i got in for the airport so i went to the next floor and got a bed for the night ( lol i paid about 11$)

our money is worth 3.5 times theres so its nice to have cheap living and be able to buy quilmes bock beer for like 90 cents each

and i think every girl ill ever meet here has boned at least one of my friends at some point in the past...


its wierd.

i havent updated since may and my life has changed dramatically since then so i feel some kinda status report should be made.

im in a good spot now but it was a rocky transition getting my life resituated. my delivery job pays well and i love it, i moved into a super legit/cheap house with my best friends from high school. got a puppy (buffy). went back to school and am doing well. and im saving to start another business building mopeds.

the detroit bar show is going to be awesome...i have a feeling it'll sell out

the show on the 31st at oc tavern with hi-fi sci-fi is gonna be fun as hell

february and march will be busy as hell with school starting and recording the new ep

my dad just told me he is changing the locks on february 1st. this is because i haventbeen to a dentist in two years and my teeth were getting bad so i went to my family dentist today and i have to go for in 2 more times for special cleanings cuz my gums were that fucked up... this particular dentist happened to be the dentist my dad is battling right now because he gave my dad a root canal on the wrong tooth.

now im being punished.

so im sitting in my london hotel room overlooking the channel and the millenium dome where we will be going tomorrow night to see led zep. the flight over was nice. i had the privilage of spending my 10 hour flight next to the most beautiful english girl named anna. she was flying home from mexico where she helped set up orphanages. shes gonna drive down to london to see us play on the 10th. we spent the flight sleeping, watching movies together and discussing the differences of our cultures.

London observations: people in london really like to fight... and its ok cuz you really dont get in trouble and the fights are all just fist fights. our cab drive told a bus driver to "suck on mine" when the bus driver stepped out of the car and tried to fight our cab driver right in the middle of the street! There are tons of dark allys to "settle" disputes. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION IS EPIC! the trainstation is nicer then some malls ive been too in the u.s.a.

global warming actually matters here. they are seeing effects of global warming all over england. all they talk about on tv is global warming (ya and football, or soccer) and England has terrible floods that worsen each year. but they also care about solving there problem. they are building power tourbines (windmills) that are going to be able to generate enough power to power the entire country!!!

last night we went to shoreditch which a group of streets with NOTHING BUT PUBS AND BARS! literally there must be 50 bars all with in a few blocks ,all within walking distance and all of them crammed packed with the super attractive people. most the girls here are soooo much more classy than back at home. and its wierd because everyone in the bars is drinking but people dont act like they are drunk. its not like moscow or other clubs back home with slutty chicks making out with everything in site... girls here are 10 times classier than american girls.

so after not having the internet for 2 months i felt the need to post this long update that nobody will read about what ive been doing... but right now this is all i really think about

SO I am planning on taking a trip to argentina the 14th-22nd i have hardly any money til then... and i was planning on picking up shifts at haus of pizza cuz i was never officially fired the owner just wont put me on the schedule but i get a call today from a friend who gave me his shift and he said he isn't allowed to give me shifts...

so now i am FUCKED cuz its gonna be hard to get a job and tell them i can work 2 weeks then need a week off. and i have about 50$ to my name (more like 20 cuz i need gas) and have to move out of my apartment before i go to argentina.



i feel like crawling under a rock and never coming out

so im pretty much not working at all anymore. rick took me off the schedule after i got sick and the only work i was getting was from employees who needed the night off. but nobody has called me in awhile and it worries me. so im off to look for another job today. my first stop is soundmatrix. but other than that im not very sure of where i wanna work.



any ideas?
